Antivirus Software Reviews

There are a lot of really great antivirus programs out there today. My purpose with this page is not to give you a comprehensive list, which has been done by a lot of other sites, but rather direct you to the best antivirus software that I have personally used. I want to make it clear that I have not only used these products, but have also researched them to make sure that my personal experience matches what other industry experts say about them, including the results of industry leader Virus Bulletin’s testing over the past several years. The following are the three products I recommend most.

This is my favorite antivirus product. There aren’t a lot of bells and whistles with NOD32, just pure protection for all types of malware. This software is very highly touted all over the web and for good reason. Kaspersky is a feature-rich product that goes beyond simple antivirus protection and attempts to handle all of your security needs. Click here for the full Kaspersky review.

AVG has been offering free antivirus protection for years. Although AVG was once known more for being free than top-notch, in recent years AVG has made great strides to match the protection of the industry leaders and is now offering identity theft protection along with their paid software. There are certainly other options out there, some of which are very good. I have personally used these three products and am confident that I am recommending three of the very best available. The only thing I would strongly suggest in terms of software I have not listed is that you do not use the software that came installed on your system. Read the reviews and feel secure knowing that whichever of these products you choose, you’ll have taken a huge step toward securing your system against all sorts of threats and viruses!
